[ mood | Sexy ]

For some reason this song cheers me up. It's a sexy twist on a sorta slow sorta deep voiced, i dont know. it's just awesome. I think it's the first song I ever heard with the word sex in it, and I loved it from day one.

High school lover - Air (on the virgin suicides soundtrack)

This song has no words and then it does. This song is soaring through my veins, it's throbbing through my lungs, it's swimming through my bloodstream. It's leaving pieces of notes and beats in side my skin, in my secret places that should not be secret, in my organs, in my throat.

It's a million ways to say "I love you" It's tragic with a twist of sweet lemonade and then, completely hopeful.

It's the sound you lose when you see your lover walk by, when she takes that step and you wish to take every blade of grass and put it next to your pillow. When he smiles brighter than the full moon. When he brushes hair out of your eyes.

It's the sigh released from my soul when you are away. It's the tears that fall when the sky falls around my shoulders in pieces and there is nothing to say. It's the quiver of my lips when suddenly, the sky is put back into place, just like before and yet, sparkling just a bit more than before.

It's the song played over and over, until you choke. It's the melody that burns and releases, that is mad love and sweet pain.

And he's the Trip Fontaine that didn't run away.

it's amazing how portishead's roads can turn me down from one second to another. end up crying. hiding. bursting inside. but yet it's so amazingly beautiful. painfully beautiful.

& I have seen all I want to
& I have felt all I want to
but we can dream all we want to
we can dream all we want to

in the soil of out sadness hear our hearts bell a serenade. a faint choir tenderly shaping a lament ... a hollow refuge.

grey skies. blinding clouds. sad eyes. salvation. broken hearts amongst broken glass. strong minds. damnation. breaking free. strength caged in weakness. freedom. sad eyes & grey skies.
& salvation.

We're acting like school children at an old rundown carnival.
Rust spots are splattered on the rides, & there is a tear in the red vinyl seat. We spin into circles while smelling the air filled of funnel cakes topped with cream & strawberries. The clouds look like cotton candy puffed amongst the stars when we noticed an old man dressed as a clown. He's walking toward the little boy & his stuffed oversized robot. balloons tumbling out of his striped sack slung over his shoulder & a quivering smirk crosses his face (much as I'd imagine Albert Fish,) cracking his dryed white makeup into the wrinkles of his skin. The little girl across the way gets my attention, she has pink ice cream all over her nose. & is giggling as she points to the nearly dead goldfish her father has just won her. & just dropped onto the ground.

quite disturbing. no?
